Some fish prefer to be alone, others are timid and prefer to school with their own species. There are community fish, which are the most common fish, and they tend to get along with everybody. Then there are semi-aggressive, aggressive, and extremely aggressive types of fish. The size of fish is also important in selection. Remember a very important rule: If a fish has a mouth big enough to swallow another fish, it eventually will.  So, it pays to do some research before you choose who you want to add to your tank, because compatibility plays a big part in having a successful aquarium.

 

      

Pineworks offers a variety of options when it comes to selecting your aquarium stand. We offer both free-standing floor cabinets, and wall units. The main body of each piece is constructed of cabinet grade veneer plywood, with an arborite top, and solid maple or oak trim. Each unit has space for the "mechanics" of the aquarium (pumps, hoses, etc), and comes with adjustable shelves and drawers. And on the floor cabinets (constructed for up to a 55 gallon tank) there are caster wheels available for easier maneuvering on non-carpeted floors. We also provide aquarium resealing, for anyone who has a tank that is in need of some renovations.
